Part two - The show goes on :-D

So the movie was over but not the show, not at all. He was thinking so much about those cool scenes and references the movie had. He also felt quite hungry and thirsty. Luckily there was a great buffet waiting and free drinks for him at the Gala event at Pakkahuone, just a short walk away from the cinema. While enjoying the food, he had a great view on to the stage where Laibachs gig would be later on.

He also had another short chat with a guy who loved all these cool little Internet culture references in Iron Sky. After finishing his food and starting his second beer :-), the hosts of the evening (sorry can't find the names) started the program.
You can find all recordings of the stage here.

After the hosts and other people left the stage, there were some interviews for the people watching online. You can see them at the official Iron Sky YouTube channel. Don't get confused by the weird language they speak. Some of interviews are in Finnish x-D. Meanwhile the interviews where going on and Laibach was preparing for the stage, the fanboy started to do what every fanboy would do. He started collecting signatures. While doing this he also visited the show girls again. In addition to a full box Sho-Ka-Kola, he also got a nice Iron Sky play card.
Before Laibach started to play, he also had another cool encounter with an Investor who invested 1000€ over the crowd investment scheme. Then the concert started and even though he wasn't a big concert fan, he really enjoyed it, especially the songs that were from the soundtrack.
After the concert it was probably around 11pm, so he finished his signature hunt. Here is the awesomely cool result.
The coolest signature was from Götz Otto, he added to his signature me2 pointing to the I love Tampere. Unfortunately the fanboy did't recognize the actress in the wheelchair so he didn't dare to ask her for a signature which he really regretted later. (I'm quite sure she was Kym Jackson who played First Officer Julia McLennan)

Time was passing fast and it seemed the evening was coming to an end. The staff started clearing off Pakkahuone. People who wanted to stay a bit longer like the fanboy, moved to the Klubi part of the Gala area. The fanboy was sitting and drinking with two older Finns. One of the two had a nice Iron Sky Nazi hat. The crazy and fascinating thing which turned out later was that the hat was a real one which he inherited from a relative. Soon people started to leave Klubi, so he begrudgingly but very happy, about the outcome of the great evening, prepared to leave as well. That was the moment when he met the Kati Kink Ensemble.

Kati invited the fanboy to join them on the way to the after party at the Fat Lady Club. Boy you should have seen the smile in his face, as there was no way this evening could've had a better ending. On the way to Fat Lady, Kati told the fanboy about their song "Under the Iron Sky" which was used in the original trailer. She also told him that they would soon be releasing their new album "Under the Iron Sky". He really had a big smile on his face the whole way to Fat Lady because of the awesome company he ended up with at the end of evening.

After arriving at Fat Lady, he had a great time on the dancefloor. Stephanie Paul was dancing on the floor, Timo Vuorensola and probably some others in the back as well. But he did not really care anymore, he just enjoyed dancing the night away on the floor with all the other Iron Sky fans and contributors.

Part one - Waiting for 3 years

Hi, I'm here to tell you the story of a German Iron Sky fanboy at the Iron Sky red carpet premiere in Tampere on 26.03.2012. Shortly about this fanboy we are speaking about. He waited for this movie for 3 years when he saw the first trailer of it. In October 2010 he went to Tampere, Finland for a 6 month long internship without even knowing that the idea, the CGI and so much more of Iron Sky originated from there. When he realized it, he was already in love with Tampere, public sauna at Kauppi and his awesome working place at Demola - New Factory. He started dreaming about seeing movie in the city it came from. But he never even in his wildest dreams thought about being there at the premiere, the gala and even the party after the show. That's when his Finnish friend Matti told him about the ticket sale to the premier on the 26th. ( Video inviting to the premier) He was first a bit skeptic about the 50€, which was a lot of money for a guy who was just running really l...

Part Three - Last thoughts

You probably already figured out that the fanboy was me. x-D I wrote this story from 3rd perspective because I know there are many like me who just not had this awesome opportunity. Like my friend Matti, who unfortunately bought a ticket for the 27.03 before he knew about the 26.03 :-P. He did enjoy the 27th anyway.  I also have to thank him for coediting this posts and removing all the ugly grammar and wrong spellings! As last words I would like to say: I learned at this evening again that we are all just people. Why would I otherwise be able to Dance at the same stage as the President of the United States.   You should laugh at this point. Please smile at least :-P The only differences between you me and everybody else are the opportunities we get and are willing to take, as well as the goals and dreams we are setting our self and are eager to pursuit. One of the best opportunities I took in my life jet was to go for a half year to Tampere and Finland.  I...
